Services Guide
This guide elaborates on the norms and precautions for sending various items to the European Union, focusing on the specific requirements of major categories such as food, cosmetics, skin care products, drugs and electronic products. For each type of goods, the permitted or prohibited transportation scope, specific packaging standards, appropriate transportation channel selection and necessary declaration conditions are clearly defined.
1. Food category (for personal use)
Allowed range: biscuits, candy, tea (need to be vacuum-packed), snacks without meat/dairy products
Prohibited scope: fresh food, meat products, dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables (the European Union strictly controls such items)
Packaging requirements: vacuum sealing combined with foam box and ice bag packaging (fresh food needs to be qualified for cold chain transportation, and it is not recommended to send it individually)
Declaration conditions: If the value of the goods does not exceed 150 euros, it needs to be clearly marked as "personal use, non-commercial use"
2. Cosmetics/skin care products
Compliance requirements: The ingredients of the product must comply with the provisions of the EU EC1223/2009 regulations, and it is strictly forbidden to contain hormones, heavy metals and other prohibited substances.
Packaging specifications: The capacity of a single bottle should not exceed 100ml. It should be sealed and leak-proof, and placed in a transparent plastic bag.
Transportation channels: give priority to EMS or special line transportation of sensitive goods, and avoid using ordinary express services.
3. Medicines (for personal use)
Usage restrictions: only for non-prescription drugs, the dosage shall not exceed 3 months, and the value of the item shall not exceed 50 euros.
Required documents: need to provide hospital prescription paper (Chinese-English/Chinese-French bilingual comparison), product instructions and ingredient list
Transportation channel: It can only be sent by EMS or a specific medical hotline, and the general express service will refuse to accept it.
4. Electronic products/enercited items
Technical requirements: Lithium batteries must meet the UN38.3 standard, and the power must not exceed 100Wh (if it exceeds this limit, an air transport identification report is required)
Packaging standard: Use insulating materials to wrap the battery to prevent short circuit, and the outer packaging box should be clearly marked with the "lithium battery" logo.
Transportation channels: need to be transported through DHL/UPS sensitive cargo channels, and declare the battery-related information in advance.
Strict compliance with the above provisions can ensure that all parcels sent to the European Union fully meet the requirements of local import regulations, and effectively avoid the detention or return of parcels due to non-compliance.
